About Us

This project is being run as a collaboration between the Universities of Cardiff, Nottingham, and Oxford, funded by the NIHR CTU Efficient/Innovative Designs call 2022. Each institution will take the lead on the creation of one explainer animation each.

Professor Duncan Richards

Duncan is the lead researcher for the project.

Dr Claire Nollett

Cardiff University - Centre for Trials Research

Claire will input into the development and dissemination of both surveys, acting as the primary link to PPI&E for this project.

Dr Fiona Lugg-Widger

Cardiff University - Centre for Trials Research

Fiona will lead on the development of one explainer video chosen through the Delphi.

Kirsty will provide expertise in study design and delivery as well as expertise in PPI engagement.

Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit

Clare will co-ordinate the whole initiative and lead on the delivery of the Delphi.

Dr Vicki Barber

Vicki will provide expertise in trial delivery and patient information.

Sam will co-ordinate project team activities and the PPI groups developing the explainer videos.
